Guyana Water Incorporated (GWI) has started preparatory work on the $850M Coastal 2011 Programme, which will see the construction of five wells and an enhanced water supply service.
In a press release, GWI said 5,000 residents of Onderneeming, Essequibo Coast will benefit from boosted water supply when a station is constructed at Onderneeming Scheme Phase 2. Also, 7,000 East Coast Demerara residents
