GPHC says fully stocked with medication for pregnant women

The management of the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPHC) yesterday said that the institution has a fully supply of medication utilized by patients of the Obstetrics and Gynecological Unit.

In a press release responding to an article in yesterday’s Kaieteur News headlined ‘Private hospitals low on medication for pregnant women with hypertension,’  the hospital said its main pharmacy has in stock over 100 vials of hydralazine, over 10,000 amlodipine, 4000 aldomet, 14 magnesium sulphate, 40 oxytocin,
