A 52-year-old woman was last night hit down and killed by a car on Regent Street in the vicinity of Kanhai’s Electrical Store as she was attempting to cross the road. The driver is in police custody.
Dead is Drewpattie Richards of Triumph, East Coast Demerara who was killed minutes after leaving a Robb Street, Bourda liquor store.
