At about 0130h. today Kenneth Bhagwandin, 49 years of Stanleytown, WBD, was shot and injured to his right hip by a licensed firearm holder while at a snackette at Goed Fortuin, WBD, according to the police.
Investigations revealed that the incident occurred after the two men became involved in an argument over the closure of the premises, a statement from the police today said.
Bhagwandin has been admitted a patient at the GPHC. Investigations are ongoing.
