The mother of Dr Roger Luncheon has passed away in New York, according to the Government Information Agency.
GINA said that Head of the Presidential Secretariat, Dr Luncheon had travelled to New York on Saturday to visit his mother, Sybil Hyacinth-Luncheon who was critically ill.
President Donald Ramotar and his cabinet colleagues have extended their sympathy to Dr Luncheon.
