The Guyana Defence Force (GDF) yesterday held its annual Cadet Day at Base Camp Stephenson, Timehri where fifteen Cadet Officers showed off the skills learned in the one-year training programme.
In the presence of their families, President Donald Ramotar, Prime Minister Samuel Hinds and other distinguished guests, the officers showed off their skills in navigating the obstacle course, surviving in the jungle, disassembling and reassembling their weapons while blindfolded and also demonstrated a house searching exercise.
