Bandits on Tuesday escaped with gold and diamond jewellery along with home appliances and cash valued $2 million during an early morning burglary at the home of a Craig resident.
Reports are that on January 31 at around 2 am bandits broke and entered the two-storey house of Terrence Kingston, a vegetable and fruit vendor of Lot 4 First Street, Craig, East Bank Demerara and stole jewellery worth in excess of $700,000, a laptop, a cellular phone,
