Corlette requests copy of legal advice minister received on transfer of overseers

Chairman of Region Four, Clement Corlette, has written to Minister of Local Government and Regional Development, Ganga Persaud, regarding legal advice cited by the minister in a continuing row over the transfer of overseers within the region.

In a letter dated last Thursday, Corlette referred to an article in the Guyana Chronicle which quoted Persaud as saying that based on advice received from the Attorney-General, there was no need for discussion.
