The police say they are conducting investigations into the circumstances surrounding the death of a man whose body was found yesterday at Puruni, Mazaruni with stab and chop wounds.
The man has been identified as Travis DeSouza.
Region Seven and other mining areas have seen an upsurge in murders in recent years.
