A woman was yesterday put on $80,000 bail by acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry after being accused of “biting the hand that fed her” when she stole from someone who had purportedly gone to her rescue.
Twenty-year-old Stacy Allen was accused of stealing one television set from Clarence Whitehead on April 21. The court heard that Allen was being afforded temporary accommodation at Whitehead’s place on the day of the incident
