Food for the Poor Guyana (FFTP) recently donated a number of items to the Guyana Book Foundation, Linden Technical Institute (LTI), Salvation Army, Radio’s Needy Children’s Fund and the Guyana Fire Service to help them fulfil their mandates. In a press release, the charity said the fire service received a quantity of footwear; LTI, computer training kits and sport gear; the Salvation Army, furniture; the Book Foundation; a few pieces of furniture and a number of books; and the Needy Children’s Fund, toys, manna rice meals and other food items.
