Burnett promises a great show at Mackenzie Sports Club ground Sunday

Middle distance track star Marian Burnett is ready to compete intensely at the President’s/Jefford Track and Field Classic Sunday at the Mackenzie Sports Club ground in Linden.

The overseas-based Guyanese disclosed her intentions at a press conference held at Digicel’s head office yesterday.
“Well I’m ready for the competition and looking to put on a show in front of my home fans, especially since the last time they saw me compete was when I was a high school athlete, so look forward for a great show from me,” Burnet stated at the press briefing.

Burnett, who strongly believes in her ability to
