Bahamas-based Guyanese FIFA referee Diane Ferreira-James has been appointed to officiate in the FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup set for August 19-September 8 in Japan.
Ferreira-James listed as the leading female referee in the Caribbean disclosed that she has started preparation for this new assignment following her recent appointment at the CONCACAF Under-17 women’s championships in Guatemala City earlier this month.
