As part of a project to address the human rights of the Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual and Transgendered (LGBT), the Society Against Sexual Orientation Discrimination (SASOD) has developed a draft Child Protection Policy meant to guide persons from the organisation in reporting cases of child physical and sexual abuse.
The project comes under a larger initiative meant to increase awareness within the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender communities of their rights and responsibilities through funding from the Australian Government via Australian Aid.
