Mechanic denies damage to property and larceny charges

A mechanic of North Ruimveldt, Georgetown, was yesterday granted bail in the sum of $65,000 when he appeared in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court before Magistrate Hazel Octave-Hamilton accused of damage to property and larceny.

Ronald Newton of Lot 3673 North Ruimveldt between June 3, 2011 and February 17, 2012, is alleged to have maliciously damaged one minibus bumper and three tires, all to the value of $22,000, the property of Lloyd Thomas.
