Bids tendered for new GPHC mortuary refrigerator, Mahaica concrete walls

A new refrigerator for the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPHC) mortuary was among those tenders for which bids were opened at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board on Tuesday. Orkon Construction tendered a bid for $22 million and International Pharmaceutical Agency (IPA) for $21, 650,000. The highest bid was tendered by Total Solutions.

In addition to the tender for the mortuary refrigerator, bids were also opened for the supply and installation of a washer and dryer for the GHPC’s laundry department and the provision of attendant, floor care and janitorial services. For the first, Hardware Depot submitted a bid for $51,805,637; IPA, $43,700,000; General Marine Company, $36,649,000; Orkon Construction, $30M and Total Solutions, $27M.
