Amid the afterglow of the Guyana Jaguars’ crushing 20-nil victory over Trinidad and Tobago’s Calypso Warriors on Saturday, the local ruggers have been lauded for their superior fitness and the execution of their game plan.

Current president of the Guyana Rugby Football Union (GRFU) Colonel John Lewis and former President Kit Nascimento lavished praise on the local team in interviews yesterday with Stabroek Sport.
