The Central Islamic Organization of Guyana (CIOG) donated a quantity of household items and cash to fire victim Yasin Hamid and his family. Hamid’s Lot 22 Felicity, Railway Embankment, East Coast Demerara home was gutted by fire on Monday last rendering his family of nine homeless. He is also expecting another child, some time during this month, and had indicated that he would be grateful for assistance in whatever form from the general public.
