Man hurt after pickup slams into pole

The driver of this blue Nissan pickup, GEE 6089, apparently lost control of the vehicle sometime around 9:45 pm yesterday and slammed into this utility pole at Ramp Road, Ruimveldt. The front of the pickup truck was damaged and the entire windscreen was shattered. A passer-by saw the driver, who sustained injuries, and rushed him to the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) where he was receiving medical treatment up to press time. It is also reported that the man, who appeared to be in his forties was the lone passenger in the vehicle.
