Suriname President and Caricom Chairman Desi Bouterse is hosting a high-level youth exchange between Caricom youth leaders and young people from UNASUR aimed at boosting their leadership skills in order to mobilize youth for a greater role in influencing regional policies.
The two-day meeting will be held in Suriname today and tomorrow under the theme ‘Youth participation for the development of our region; developing our region through cultural connections’, a press release from the Caricom Secretariat said.
