Police say that at about 0830h today, porter Allan Mendonca, 30 years of Lower Kara Kara, Linden, was travelling in a trailer transporting logs along the Ituni trail when the vehicle toppled as a result of a puncture. He was pinned under the logs and later pronounced DOA at the Mackenzie Hospital.
Investigations are in progress.
