Friendship man died from stab wound, pathologist testifies

Pathologist Dr Nehaul Singh yesterday testified that a stab wound to the right side of the chest was the operating factor resulting in Nohar Bahadur’s death, when the trial of Sherwin Barnwell continued yesterday in the High Court before Justice Franklyn Holder.

Dr Singh’s evidence, which concluded yesterday’s hearing, did mention that Bahadur also received injuries to his head with a blunt object along with the stab wound believed to have been caused by a knife. The injuries caused by the blunt object alone, according to Dr Singh, could not have resulted in Bahadur’s death.
