Guyanese wheelers connect in Harlem

Guyanese wheelers connect in Harlem: On Father’s Day at the Harlem Skyscraper Classic at Marcus Garvey Park, Manhattan, New York City, the Guyana Cycling Association of North America (GCANA) pitched a tent at the community cycling festival and a number of former Guyanese cycling stars and GCANA officials seized the photo opportunity. Next to the GCANA tent, third from left is Geron Williams who has been training and racing in the U.S. recently and to his left is his mentor, Aubrey Gordon, who copped a third place finish in the Masters 45+ event. The lone female is Sandy Lall, a former Guyana champion in the females category, and GCANA Treasurer Monty Davis is in the centre. Former Guyana cycling stars Gerald Yates is in the black Puma jersey and Errol McClean is on his bike.
