GCCI floats civil society observer role in gov’t, opposition dialogue

President of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) Clinton Urling has suggested that civil society be involved as observers to the tripartite talks between government and the parliamentary opposition parties.

According to a press release, Urling made the suggestion when he, GCCI’s Chairman of the Security and Governance Committee Silas Brummell and GCCI’s Immediate Past President Komal Ramnauth met with the chairman and executive members of the Alliance For Change (AFC)
