A car crosses the new Cemetery Road bridge, complete with rails. The bridge, which was dilapidated had been closed following the death of teenager Elbert Thorne in early May, when the car he was in plunged off the bridge and into the Sussex Street canal. Residents of the area had subsequently blocked the bridge and protested for it to be repaired, stating that they had complained about it many times before. (Photo by Anjuli Persaud)
