Eleven boys are assisting the police in their investigations into the cause of an explosion in the male sanitary block of the J.C. Chandisingh Secondary School, at Rose Hall Town, Corentyne, on Tuesday.
The fourth formers are alleged to have attached the fire cracker ‘Thunder King’ to a mosquito coil, which they subsequently lit and left unattended in the toilet cistern.
