A woman in the early stages of pregnancy suffered a miscarriage at the Mabaruma Hospital, in the North West District on Sunday morning and she wants an investigation of the care she received at the facility.
Sharon Mendonca, 33, was four months pregnant when she visited the hospital with complaints of pains. She was subsequently admitted to the hospital’s maternity ward and she is claiming that she was left alone by the medical staffers, who last checked on her around 3am on Sunday morning.
