St. Ignatius Secondary yesterday hammered Aishalton Secondary 7-0 to be declared Region Nine champions in the countrywide Digicel Schools football championships currently underway.
Playing at the St. Ignatius Centre Ground, St Ignatius were led by a beaver trick from Mark Joseph and a hat-trick from Seon Kortright.
Joseph scored his goals in the 15th, 53rd, 60th and 67th minutes while Kortright netted in the seventh, 18th and 87th minutes. St Ignatius will face Region Three champions Bush Lot Secondary
