Repeated requests from the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment for a status update on the drilling campaign of Repsol’s exploratory operation at Jaguar have been futile.
Staff of the ministry Parmanand Persaud told Stabroek News over the weekend that based on this newspaper’s request, the ministry requested of Repsol information regarding the state of the drilling but said that this has so far not been forthcoming.
