Caribbean Under-15 silver medallist Chelsea Edghill has failed to advance to the last 16 of the Latin America junior championship in Mexico after placing third in her group.
Edgill, competing in Group Five along with Spain’s Andrea Galeano, Mexico’s Maria Espinosa and Brazil’s Tathiane Pimentel found herself caught in a three-way tie at the end of the group stages and in the tie break found herself in third position and eliminated from the competition.
