The Judicial Service Commis-sion has appointed Azeena Baksh as the new Registrar of Deeds, Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs Anil Nandlall announced on Friday, the Government Information Agency (GINA) said in a press release.
Baksh, who assumes office today, is the holder of a Bachelors of Law degree from the University of Guyana. She also completed the Certificate of Legal Education (LEC) at the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad and held several senior positions at various agencies, including the Ministries of Legal Affairs and Human Services and Social Security.
