The Guyana Classic, a series of books on the history and culture of Guyana from 1595 to present day, saw six more titles added yesterday and these will be donated to public and school libraries across the country.
The books which are written by Guyanese authors are Selected Poetry- 1999-2010 by Maggie Harris, Unclosed Entrances- Selected Poems by Sasenarine Persaud, Selected Poems by Elly Niland, The New Slavery- An Account of the Indian and Chinese Immigration in British Guiana by Joseph Beaumont,
