New Amsterdam and national sprinter Cortez Fraser was among four men who appeared before Magistrate Adela Nagamootoo at the the New Amsterdam Magistrate Court yesterday charged with ganja possession; they were each released on $75,000 bail.
The court was told that Fraser, 17, of Tucber Park, New Amsterdam and Imran Ramsaywack, 18, of Adelphi Village, both of Berbice; along with Mark Major, 28, of Anira Street Queenstown and Wallyee Anderson, 39, of Lot 117 East La Penitence
