Kristina Cheeks of the Association Do Shotokan of Guyana (ASKG) was named the top medalist from her Dojo’s at the 2012 International Karate Daigaku (IKD) World Cup held in Toronto, Canada earlier this month.
The 16-year-old Cheeks won medals in all five of her age group events.
She won gold medals in the Team Enbu, Team Kata Bunkai and Individual Kata
