The Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment on Wednesday handed over a Global Positioning System (GPS) to the Guyana Women Miners Organisation (GWMO) at the Sea Breeze Hotel, Kitty, the Government Information Agency (GINA) said in a press release.
Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Robert Persaud presented the equipment to Simona Broomes, President of the GWMO, on behalf of the Guyana Geology and Mines Commission (GGMC).
