The man who was shot several times by police on Friday night is still in a critical state in the Intensive Care Unit of the Georgetown Hospital. Shane Hinds, 27, of Middle Road, La Penitence, Georgetown, is in an unconscious condition officials at the hospital stated yesterday.
Hinds was said to have been shot by police more than five times while on a motorcycle. He and a bystander, Yonette Cummings, of 271 Thomas Street, were the two persons wounded after police opened fire on two people on a motorcycle. Cummings was discharged from the hospital
