Solidarity with Linden: Yesterday, Red Thread organized a picketing exercise in front of the Office of the President, Vlissengen Road. Holding placards, those on the picket line urged passing motorists to toot their horns in solidarity with the people of Linden. Besides members of Red Thread, civil society activists and members of the combined opposition were in attendance. The protest lasted for about an hour and according to the organizers, the picketing exercises will continue.
