A 16-year-old Brickdam Secondary School student was last evening hit down by a car that was allegedly speeding as she was about to cross on a pedestrian crossing at Flour Mill Road, Eccles, East Bank Demerara.
Injured, and currently a patient at the Georgetown Public Hospital, is Akeisha Jackman of Eccles, East Bank Demerara. She sustained a broken leg and bruises to other parts of her body as a result of the accident. Up to press time she
