Last year’s National Road Race Senior Champion, Walter Grant-Stuart’s fourth place overall finish at this year’s annual Bigi Bergi four-stage Road Race in Suriname, was the highest of the four local riders that featured in the top-10.
Grant-Stuart, representing the Miami-based Team Coco’s, overall time was eight hours, 15 minutes and 13 seconds.
The event which pedaled off last Friday and concluded on Sunday was won by Surinamese Moses Rickets (overall time seven hours,42 minutes 11 seconds)with local riders Orville Hinds, Alonzo Greaves and junior star
