The University of Guyana rebounded from a loss on Saturday to stun the Demerara Cricket Club, while Transport Sports Club held on for a hard fought win over Police Sports Club as early morning rains reduced the two scheduled New Building Society second division matches to T20s.
At the small Gandhi Youth Organisation (GYO) ground, UG batted first and reached a competitive 162-9 thanks to 39 from Kenroy Joseph, who struck three fours and three sixes.
