St Vincent cops ask local force for info on Guyanese fraud suspects

The Guyana Police Force says that it has received a request for assistance for help from its counterparts in St Vincent and The Grenadines in the investigation of seven suspected teller machine fraudsters charged there last week.

Crime Chief and Deputy Police Commissioner Seelall Persaud told Stabroek News that the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) requested assistance and the force is complying with the requests. “We were asked for help and we did give it… they wanted background checks on the persons and for us to see if they were involved in similar situations over here,”
