Go-Invest facilitated investments worth $49B last year

Overall investments in the Guyana economy facilitated by the Guyana Office for Investment (Go-Invest) climbed steadily between 2009 and 2011, according to the organisation’s 2010-2011 report.

The report alludes to “an increased value of investments facilitated from, $22 billion in 2009 to $37 billion in 2010 and $49 billion in 2011, representing a 122 per cent increase over the two-year period. The report said the total investment value represented 509 projects in 2010, up from 473 in 2009.
