The Ministry of Health is seeking to secure scholarships in pathology for students interested in this discipline to fill the shortage of personnel in this field.
Minister of Health Dr Bheri Ramsaran said several months ago he had made inquiries into securing scholarships in this field, and the issue had been taken to Cabinet.
The minister said efforts had been made to secure tuition in Cuba where many local doctors have been trained,
