Two Caribbean Airlines flights cancelled in face of Agricola unrest

Caribbean Airlines has cancelled two of its flights which were scheduled to depart Trinidad for Guyana and Guyana for Trinidad respectively, last evening, as a result of the unrest on the lower East Bank Demerara.

According to a media release from Caribbean Airlines, “civil unrest” in Guyana forced the cancellation of flight BW 483, which was to have left Trinidad at 8.35 pm yesterday. As a result BW 484, which was to have left Guyana for Trinidad was also cancelled.
