The Becian Stars federation dethroned Calphays federation by three points to become the new champions of the 2012 Ashton Alleyne Athletics Championships (AAAC) formerly known as Youth Congress Championships Sunday at the Police Sports Club ground, Eve Leary.
Becian Stars accumulated a total of 269 points to claim victory while Calphays finished three points short on 266. Webmays was third with 199 points while Salcah finished fourth with 176 points.
Tevin Garraway, who the Athletics Association of Guyana failed to find funds for to send to Argentina, showed his pedigree
by claiming the sprint triple at the event.
