IGG kicks off this morning with opening ceremony, time trials

The first leg of the 2012 Inter Guiana Games between Suriname and Guyana
Will get underway this morning following an opening ceremony at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.

The two countries will compete at volleyball, cycling and chess in the two-day competition which ends tomorrow.

Next week, the Guyana team will travel to Suriname to compete in the basketball and table tennis matches.
