Munroe elected as GTTA president

After rising through the ranks from player to national champion and serving several terms as General Secretary, Godfrey Munroe will now be the man in charge after he was elected president of the Guyana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) following their annual general meeting (AGM) on Sunday at Olympic House.

Munroe takes over from the late, former commissioner of Police Henry Greene who died in a road accident close to two months ago. During, Greene’s tenure as president, Munroe had served as the general secretary while on previous GTTA executive compositions, he functioned as assistant secretary and vice president.
