At about 0620h yesterday, police said that ranks of the Police Narcotics Branch at the Ogle Airport, ECD, stopped and searched a man who was on a local flight to Ekereku, Cuyuni, and found 404 grams of compressed marijuana concealed in a flex hose.
The man has been arrested and is in police custody. Charges will be laid shortly, police said.
