Two teenagers died in an accident on the Providence, East Bank Demerara road on Thursday night, after the car they were travelling in crashed into the concrete median.
Two other persons, who were in the vehicle, were also injured in the accident, which occurred around 11:40, police said yesterday.
Dead are Kerwin Andrews, 16, of Brutus Street, Agricola, who was pronounced dead on arrival at the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) and Christopher Chung, 19, of Cato Street, Agricola, who succumbed to his injuries
