More than a month after 42-year-old Dave Seecharan was beaten unconscious and then had his right eye gouged out in a grisly attack, which stemmed from an ongoing dispute between his teenage son and another boy, he is unable to work and provide for his family.
Seecharan, a carpenter, of Lot 1638 Ninth Field, Cummings Lodge, East Coast Demerara, lost his eye on October 6, when he was assaulted by the parents of a boy with whom his son had a problem.
The matter is currently before the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court and will be called again on November 23. On the last occasion,
